Description
This is the first painting of Buckingham Palace I’ve done, and I wanted to do a view that captured the front of this remarkable building. At the same time I also wanted to put something in the composition to break up the rigid symmetry of the Palace. Thankfully I was able to include the flower beds in the foreground.
